Fuchsias need to be well watered, particularly in hot weather.
Ensure soil has good drainage to avoid rot. Plants bloom on new growth,
stimulated by a high-nitrogen plant food.
New plants can be propagated from cuttings. Snip six inches of new tip
growth, remove the leaves from the lower third of the stem and insert the
cuttings into soft soil or perlite. Once rooted and potted, the plants will
bloom all summer.
